Marvel-Dare Nutting and Audrey D. Dickson Fellowship
Marval-Dare received her Master of Science in Chemistry from Washington State College (now know as WSU) in 1930 before she was 20 years old. After graduating from WSC, she went on for a Ph.D. in Biochemistry at the University of Rochester. Marval-Dare and her sister Audrey created a legacy at WSU through their wills.
Awarded to Graduate and Undergraduate students in Biochemistry, with a preference going to women.

George Oakshott/North Idaho Veterinary Medical Association Scholarship
Dr. Richard L. Ott Endowment for Graduate Research in Small Animal Medicine
Yearly award in the College of Veterinary Medicine, going to a veterinary graduate student who is actively engaged in small animal medicine research. Recipient is selected by the Veterinary Clinical Sciences Research Committee.

Dr. George Ross Endowment for Radiology
John C. Ross, Vera Ross and Avron J. Ross Medical Microbiology Endowment Fund
John Ross enrolled at Washington State College being awarded a B.S. in Microbiology in 1948 and a M.S. in Microbiology in 1953. He was hired as a research microbiology by the Western Fish Disease Laboratory, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Department of the Interior, located in Seattle WA. The lab identified, described and devised treatments for bacterial, viral and parasitological diseases of salmonid fishes, for both hatchery reared and wild stock.
Awarded to Graduate Students pursuing advanced degrees in Microbiology, with a preference to those in the field of Medical Microbiology.
